As Arnold - Heath Memorial VFW Post 5151 strives to complete our 2025-2026 VFW Goals. We reflect on the 2024-2025 losses and wins that brought us this far. We remember our Comrades that are no longer with us physically but remain in our hearts and still serve to remind us that we are equal to our tasks and capable of so much more.
I want to thank the post members that have worked so hard and devoted so much energy and effort. Through the efforts of these motivated comrades, we earned the title of "ALL STATE" Post for the state of Illinois, and we earned the title of "ALL AMERICAN" at the National Level. At the All State Level, there are approximately 32 tasks to be completed to earn this distinction, with additional tasks added to earn All American. Awesome Job Post 5151, Well Deserved!
We will drive on and aim to accomplish more, help one more Veteran, reach more children with scholarships, provide a helping hand to the families at Fisher House, be it a meal while there seeking care or family member that just needs an ear or a shoulder or both. Our Operation Airlift has sent more than 1600 packages to service members in harm's way and in strictly austere conditions because there is nothing like a little taste of home when you are so far away. The list could go on.
